today i am engaged

Yesterday I had a toothache, but the dentist got it out.
Some time ago I wore little tiny shoes, but growing took care of that.
Last year I dyed my hair dark. I loved it, but I like how it is now, too.
A few years ago I was in school, and now I have a job.
When I was little I hugged stuffed animals on a regular basis, now I hug them not-so-regularly.
A month ago I had never been to Spain, I can now say it looks a lot like Utah.
A few days ago I had a boyfriend, today I am engaged.
Yesterday was one way, and today is simply another.
